ᐅ IKEA BESTA BOAS TV Unit – Suitable TV Size and Mounting Options?

KorreHello IKEA fans,
I am considering getting the Boas TV unit from the Besta system.
I have two questions regarding this:
1. Will a 42-inch TV fit inside, especially if – like with PANASONIC models – there are multiple connectors on the sides of the TV? Is there enough space in between? Is the height sufficient?
2. I assume I need to buy a separate mounting bracket to attach the TV to the back panel. Stability should be ensured. But do I need special screws for the back panel? What material is it made of?
Thank you.

Measure the TV. Go to IKEA and compare, and ask the usual remaining questions to the salesperson you trust...
Was I able to help you enough???
😉
