we are planning to buy a Besta/Framsta wall unit.
We want to install two drawers on the lower section, each with a height of 16cm (6.3 inches).
Is this possible? Will it close flush?
Has anyone already done this and can share some pictures?
Best regards

2 x 16cm (6.3 inches) = 32cm (12.6 inches) ---> So: 6cm (2.4 inches) "gap"

You should have some skill for that, though.

2x 16cm (6.3 inches) = 32cm (12.6 inches) ---> So: 6 cm (2.4 inches) “air gap”Yes, I already calculated that myself.
If I definitely wanted drawers in this cabinet, I would attach the door to a tall drawer and convert a narrow one into an inner drawer.
You should have a bit of skill for that, though.The idea is good, but I don’t think I have enough skill for that.
I think I’ll just install doors after all.
Thanks for the replies.
