Is it possible to install concealed hinges or a hinged door on the tall cabinet FA703 designed for built-in refrigerators?

Hello

So, you need hinges to connect the door to the cabinet, and I’m not quite sure what you mean by the sliding door. Actually, you need both, because how else would you connect the door to the refrigerator door?

Please explain in more detail what you want to do.
Best regards

Hello,
there are refrigerators available with two different installation types, right? Units designed for built-in installation with a hinged door and units for built-in installation with a fixed door panel? I have purchased the tall cabinet and am now looking for a suitable refrigerator. I don’t know which type of fixture it needs. Does that help? I have already found an answer in another forum saying that both options are possible. Quite confusing!

I only know this version:

You open the door, and the refrigerator door opens along with it...

I once saw (96 years ago, or was it 97???) a version where you open the front first and then the refrigerator door, but I find that inconvenient.

Sorry, I can’t really help you with that...
Where did you see the other version? Send the link, then it might be easier to understand.

I have since checked with the electrical supply store, and it seems that both options can be installed. Work starts next week, and I’m curious to see how everything will go. Hopefully, it goes well!

Hello!

I’m curious to know if the flat hinge technique worked out. I’m facing the same issue. I want to install a Siemens or Bosch refrigerator in the Faktum tall cabinet for a fridge/freezer combo. Which model did you use? Did you encounter any problems?

Thanks
Tom
