ᐅ Hanging folders and ERIK

Good evening!

Does anyone have experience with the ERIK rolling cabinet?
I am interested to know if it is possible to hang other folders in it besides the IKEA ones.
I have some folders here, and it wouldn’t make sense to buy new ones and throw the old ones away.
Therefore, I would like to know before purchasing if other folders would also fit.

Simple method:

Bring a folder and hang it up. If it fits, buy the rolling cabinet right away.

But seriously – if it were that simple, I wouldn’t have posted here. The problem is, our Ikea house doesn’t carry those items in their range. So the only option left is to buy online, and before I take a “cat in the bag” risk, I wanted to see if anyone here has experience with this.

There is a simple option:

Buy it, and return it if it doesn’t fit.

The downside is that you have to pay for it first, but you get your money back if it doesn’t fit. So, this is the best solution, right?
