ᐅ Pendant decorative lamp (similar to STRALA)

Hello everyone,

Most of you are probably familiar with the Christmas lights that IKEA offers every year. Specifically, I’m referring to the STRALA star, which can be hung from the ceiling using a hook.

Now that Christmas has been over for four weeks, such a star is no longer the most suitable decoration. However, I would still like to use the hook in the ceiling or window recess.

Are you aware of any IKEA lighting that

a) has a socket that ends in a plug for a power outlet
b) can be hung from the ceiling using a simple hook
c) is relatively flat / does not protrude far forward?

I’m quite familiar with IKEA products but unfortunately can’t find an item like this. I’m also open to creative DIY solutions (I already have the socket with the plug from STRALA, I just need the right shade).

Hello,

I’m not aware of any ready-made option at Ikea. However, you can get lamp sockets with a plug and switch, and then choose a lampshade according to your preference.

PS: Sorry, I missed that you want to use the Strala socket. In that case, you would just need to find a lampshade.
