Hello,

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but please don’t be upset if it’s not – this is my first time trying!

Recently, my beloved glass vase was knocked off the table and broken, and since I haven’t been able to find a replacement, I’m trying my luck at the “source” of collective IKEA knowledge. Unfortunately, I don’t know the name or exact age of my vase, only that it was from IKEA.

It was a conical glass vase, about 30cm (12 inches) tall, with a top diameter of approximately 16–18cm (6–7 inches), as far as I can estimate (I can’t measure exactly now that it’s broken), and a bottom diameter around 10cm (4 inches). The bottom two-thirds were sandblasted, so matte, and the top third had an ornamental pattern (stylized vine? Curved motif). I have a shard that still shows the pattern reasonably well; if needed, I can attach a picture. I believe I bought the vase definitely before 2000, but I’m not sure if it was before 1995. So the general timeframe would be roughly 1990–2000, more likely between 1994 and 1999.

Does anyone have any idea what this vase might be called? That would at least give me a better starting point for searching. So far, I haven’t even found a picture.

Many thanks,

Caithlinn
