Hello everyone,

We are currently in the process of choosing our front door and considering whether it should have frosted glass or not.
The carpenter somewhat advises against it, saying that more light comes in without frosted glass and that there isn’t much going on in the hallway anyway… plus, the neighbors wouldn’t really be looking inside.
At the moment, our semi-detached house also has an entrance door with a glass panel and NO frosted glass. Somehow, it has never bothered me… but still, I would find it annoying if people could see into our hallway…

Ah! What are your opinions on this? My husband and I don’t agree at all…

Modern people will definitely go for pleated blinds
But if so, then electric ones, so I can raise them directly from the bedroom before going to the bathroom. No, for the bathroom I need frosted glass; if I want to look outside, the windows can also be opened. Many forget that with controlled ventilation systems *g*

I meant instead of frosted windows in the bathroom ;P

We have clear glass with pleated blinds.

I don’t like frosted windows. When I rented before, I used to get annoyed with the bathroom window. You could never look outside without opening the window. Now, when I want to look out, I just raise the blind a little or look over it.

We have one-way mirror glass. From the inside during the day, you can see outside normally, but no one can see in. I find it very practical because you can check who is outside without being seen yourself. Almost all the light passes through as well. Only at night, when the interior lights are on, someone might be able to peek in, but since there is another door in between (a vestibule), this is not a problem.
