We are currently finalizing the design of our house and are unsure about the layout of the bedroom and the walk-in closet. Should we keep it as it is or would it be better to swap the two rooms?
Do you have any suggestions? What do you think of the rest of the layout?

I believe it’s just the window, but the room isn’t much wider anyway. For me, it would definitely feel a bit too tight – if you have an open clothes drying rack inside, there wouldn’t be enough space to move around as it is now.

I calculated the length of 3.585 meters (11.77 feet) based on the square meters: 1.41 meters (4.63 feet) width... as I already mentioned... it could be more 🙄

First of all, thank you very much for the suggestions.....
We didn’t really want to turn the bed because we like to look out of the window when lying in bed. If we kept it as it is, we would need to change the windows, of course. My concern about swapping the rooms was the long walking distances.... but you could move the door a bit to the right, then it should work, right?

Keep in mind that you might end up walking into a wardrobe. In principle, I like it better this way, especially if the bed is meant to stay against the wall.

But you don’t just lie still on your back, do you??

Yes, you are probably right... You always imagine it so nicely, but in the end, what really matters is whether it is practical.
Do you know if it is possible to move the straight staircase slightly upwards so that the door to Child 1’s bedroom can be moved down? That way, all the entrances would be together.
