Hello everyone! As a new member and first-time builder in your forum, I now have my first question and hope someone can help me...

I am currently working on installing the empty conduits for the electrical wiring. Our house does not have a basement, so the slab was sealed with bitumen membranes. Now I am wondering how to best secure the empty conduits on the slab without damaging the bitumen membrane...

Perhaps some of you have faced the same question before...

Hello,

I am currently in the process of laying cables on the bitumen sheets. For this, I bought screws with sealing washers under the washers (available at hardware stores). Once all the cables are laid, I will secure the pipes with these screws and probably apply some silicone around each screw as well. That should make it watertight.

Hello alexo206, it’s been a while since the thread, but I still want to give you an answer.
(In case you build again )
We also drilled into the bitumen membrane... but you definitely need to place a piece of bitumen over each hole and simply use a heat gun or torch to seal it.)
