Hello dear members,
I have a question regarding the exterior facade. Unfortunately, it was painted with lime paint in my case. Does anyone have experience with what would be best to paint over it?
Thanks for your answers.
Regards, Christian

Does that mean a mineral-based exterior paint would work? A silicate paint should also be fine, but please prepare the surface first with a lime glaze or silicate primer. All other paints only if you sand off the old coating. Otherwise, you’ll find lime paint for facades available in every specialized store.

Do I need to wash off the lime, or can I just apply the primer directly over it?
