Hello,

in our new kitchen, the water drain is located further away, so the hose from Atlant is too short.
Is it possible to extend Atlant with HT pipes (these are the grey pipes) or with something else (hose)?
Or is a direct connection with HT pipes to the trap possible? Then I would simply leave out the hose.
Has anyone done this before and can give me some advice?

Regards, Kaethe

Hi Käthe,
you could probably rig something up, but it’s better not to. If you extend using PVC pipes, wastewater might collect inside them and start to smell over time.

Hello, I have exactly the same problem. Due to space constraints, the sink is not located directly above the drain, so the waste hose is too short. And because it is firmly connected to the trap, it cannot be replaced with another one.

Simply attaching an additional flexible hose might be problematic, as it will most likely sag. But there must be some kind of solution...

Hello,

of course there is a solution. Just pick up the phone and call a gas and water plumber to open up the wall and so on 😀 😀 😀

Sorry, just kidding, well, partly. In my detached house, we ALWAYS tell our customers that the sink should be placed directly next to the connections to avoid problems like this. And if customers want the sink somewhere else, they have to figure out how to manage it themselves.

Hmm... couldn’t really help, sorry 😉
