ᐅ Does anyone have experience selling scrap metal?

Hello! Since we are currently in the middle of moving, it’s clear that we will accumulate a lot of stuff that we definitely don’t want to take with us to the new house. Instead, we want to try to make some money from it. For example, we have insulated cables and various types of metal.

An acquaintance recommended the scrap yard at the mill in Altlandsberg. I saw on their website that they also offer a pick-up service.

What do you think about that, and has anyone here ever made money there?

Pack your stuff into the car / trailer.
There is already money for copper scrap – about 3 to 4 €/kg (1.36 to 1.81 USD/lb)
for cables with insulation, definitely less.

Don’t forget your ID card!!
