ᐅ Spacing for Side-by-Side Refrigerator on Both Sides (Built-In Installation)

I ordered a kitchen and got the side-by-side fridge myself (Samsung).
Now I wanted to ask how much space you left on the left and right side of the refrigerator so that the doors can open properly?

I have seen measurements ranging from about 2.5cm (1 inch) to 3.2cm (1.25 inches).

If the side-by-side refrigerator is 70cm (28 inches) deep, it will protrude and the doors will open easily.
If it is 60cm (24 inches) deep, allow 5cm (2 inches) of clearance on each side. You can’t plan a kitchen using millimeters. The thickness of the plaster, uneven walls, and similar factors can only be measured on site, and you also need to be able to install everything properly.

This is stated in the manufacturer's manual...

And the ventilation on the lower side requires a 10cm (5 inch) clearance.

The question is pointless if you don’t know where it is supposed to be placed. As already suggested, only the user manual provides clarity. Should it stand in the middle of the room, or at the edge with a wall or... ? A floor plan would help, as would knowing which model you are considering.

Samsung specifies a clearance of 50mm (2 inches) on the sides and rear for all Samsung refrigerators, and 100mm (4 inches) above. If a unit is 912mm (36 inches) wide, the niche will likely be 1000mm (39 inches) wide due to the cabinet overhead.
