Hi everyone,
we have now been using 5 decentralized fans from Vario-Vent for almost 14 months.
It’s time to share some feedback.
First of all: if you are about to make a purchase, definitely go for the Silent series. They are really very quiet.

Hello
I have been using the 3 Vario Vent Duo units since 2017. I also installed 2 empty ducts but have not equipped them yet; I am about to do that now. One of the three units (the one with the Spot) cannot currently be reached via Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi signal indicator for this unit shows zero bars, even though the Spot is installed in this device and the other two units are reachable.
Can anyone here give me a tip?
Thanks and best regards, Lutz Some of my fans also became unreachable. Support suggested disconnecting the fans for half an hour, after which they should work again. Unfortunately, that didn’t help me. I had to send the faulty fans in for repair.

Thanks and best regards, Lutz Hello, this is caused by a faulty sensor circuit board. The moisture sensor that is no longer reachable drains the power from the board down to the basement, so the Wi-Fi no longer works either. If you have the option, you can disconnect the circuit boards one at a time and then check if the Wi-Fi becomes accessible again. The circuit boards have a broken conductor track because the traces were made clearly too thin. I already have 4 of these units, and 3 of them had the same issue—usually the outer circuit board. It can be repaired with some soldering skills.
PS: I would also be interested in spare parts!
Regards,
Wolfgang

Wolfgang I have had very good experiences with the company Sebastian Prassl in Waldkraiburg. They have almost all spare parts for Vario Vent systems in stock, repair them, and ship them. My VV system was down for almost two years, but thanks to Mr. Prassl, it ventilates like on the first day again! Give it a try there.
