Good morning,
I am looking for an alternative to the angle grinder!
1.) It concerns the transition from the hallway to the living room (connecting the granite tiles to the porcelain stoneware). A 1 cm (0.4 inch) wide stainless steel trim will be placed in between.
2.) The already installed porcelain stoneware was laid too far in and needs to be cut back by about 2 cm (0.8 inch) for visual reasons.
3.) The installed porcelain stoneware cannot be removed and reinstalled accurately at this point because these tiles are no longer available anywhere in Germany. (All research was unsuccessful.)
4.) Therefore, I only have ONE chance to do everything correctly.
a) The angle grinder does not run straight
b) Pieces of the tiles sometimes chip off when using the angle grinder
c) Not to mention the dust problem
5.) I am looking for a suitable recommendation for a saw that cuts from above with an angle guide or similar.
6.) Advice on how to control the dust would be appreciated. (Otherwise, I would practically have to build a "tent" around the area.)
7.) Alternatively, maybe a tip on how to safely remove the tiles without breaking them and then cut them to size. (They are bonded with flexible adhesive. Size: 66 cm x 33 cm (26 inches x 13 inches))
Grateful for any advice
Best regards, Wolfgang

Hello
I would borrow or buy a Fein Multimaster and use a board as a guide.
