ᐅ Fiber Optic Main Distribution Frame (MDF) / Access Point Latest Configuration

Hello,

Could someone who is currently a Telekom fiber optic customer please share a recent photo showing how the main distribution point (MDP) or the fiber optic outlet/APL is installed at the moment? The construction company sent an online form that needs to be filled out as a self-assessment. I understand that nowadays there is only one device, whereas previously there were two: the actual MDP and the fiber optic outlet where the fiber modem/router was connected.

Just because you can order a connection from the telecom provider doesn’t mean that the fiber optic network is operated by the telecom company.

So, what exactly do you want to know? Usually, you can find all relevant information on the network operator's website as well as plenty of photos on Google.

Telekom is expanding its network or having it expanded by Glasfaser Plus, which in turn uses a subcontractor. It was supposed to be a simple question (or so I thought). What does the current “thing” that you get mounted on the wall actually look like? Of course, Google provides countless pieces of information, but none clearly show what is actually being installed nowadays. I would like to get a clear idea of what it looks like exactly. Preferably from someone who has recently received it and doesn’t rely on guessing from millions of pictures.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture. But at my ex’s place, a GF Access Point XS was installed by Telekom about six months ago. You can easily find the device using that name.

So basically, everything comes in from outside, then the fiber optic modem or router is connected, and no other equipment is installed there?
