Hello everyone,
Is it possible to apply for both a Telekom connection and a Unity Media connection (cable connection) at the same time? The reason is that I would like to get Internet via the cable network because Telekom cannot provide a fast enough Internet service. TV would be received normally via satellite dish.
I have already completed the Telekom application and then looked at the Unity application, which only states that they will send the builder an offer if it is possible to install a connection. I assume there must already be a cable connection nearby that they can tap into.
I still wanted to ask if anyone has ever applied for both at the same time?

It depends on whether it is a new development area or not. Usually, only one provider offers service there, as "HilfeHilfe" already described above. In the case of a building gap or similar situation, all potentially available providers can be considered. I definitely plan to arrange a connection from both Telekom and KabelDeutschland (now Vodafone). What the costs will be is another question.
I don’t quite understand now. You can get both phone and internet, for example, from a cable network provider. For satellite TV, you don’t need a provider. You just set up the dish and that’s it. So having both would be overkill. Of course, if you want to be prepared for both, then have both installed.
