Hello,
I just got home and saw that the custom-made countertop delivered is broken in the middle. 😱 The carriers definitely handled it the wrong way, carrying it flat instead of upright.

The problem now is that the installation team is arriving tomorrow at 7 AM, but customer service is only available from 8 AM.
What should I do in this situation? Send the installation team home and wait three weeks with a cluttered living room for a new countertop? Should I have them assemble the kitchen up to the countertop? ... I’m a bit unsure about what to tell them tomorrow morning. 😕

Hello,
I would suggest not saying anything to the installers at first and just let them do their work. I would try to arrange with customer service that the kitchen with the damaged countertop is installed initially and that it will be replaced later. Otherwise, you might be left without a kitchen for a few weeks.

That would be my approach, although I’m not sure if it’s the most practical solution.
