Hello everyone,

We already have a fairly complete plan for our future kitchen from the kitchen specialist. However, we’re having trouble with the upper cabinets in the top right corner of the kitchen. We don’t want to lose that corner as storage space, but of course, it still needs to be accessible (we are both 1.60 m (5 ft 3 in) and 1.75 m (5 ft 9 in) tall).

The kitchen specialist’s solution is a narrow wall cabinet on the right side with some shelves to the left of it, but I can’t really get comfortable with that idea. We also don’t have a solution yet for the wall to the left of the window. It looks very unfinished. Have any of you encountered a similar situation, and if so, how did you solve it? I wasn’t able to find anything useful on Google or Pinterest either.

I’m attaching the picture. I hope it’s clear what I mean.

Thanks and best regards,

Daniela

Hello,

I would plan your wall cabinets up to the corner and leave the left side of the window clear. You have enough storage space, right? This way, you also get more natural daylight.

@zizzi thank you very much. I had already considered that as well. I will discuss it with the kitchen installer accordingly.
