Hello,
I’m curious about where IKEA gets their photos that are later sold as thousands of prints on canvas. I have many beautiful images that I would like to suggest to see if they could possibly be printed. Does anyone know an email address where I can send the photos?
Maybe something will come of it. That would be great. 😀

The idea is good.
I think there are many, many more beautiful photos than those on the posters.
But the photos on the posters represent a particular style.
You could contact Petra Hesser, the head of Germany, she would be happy about that.
Otherwise, I would try IKEA Sweden.

Hello,
do you have the email addresses of both people?
I would like to do that. In terms of style, they would fit well into the range. Since I am an advertising photographer, the images would also be perfect in terms of resolution.
Best regards

No, I don’t have them on hand right now, but you will probably find them on Google.

Hi there,

I think this will be very difficult. My mother once had the same idea and spoke directly to an employee on site, who just gave her a confused look... I believe they simply wouldn’t share the designs with anyone outside their own staff/designers, no matter how good other people’s ideas might be.

BUT: give it a try!!! It would be really cool! And maybe they’ll even make you an employee spontaneously 🙂

It shouldn’t be that difficult to find a way to market your photos. They are really beautiful. Of course, no one at home on my Mac is interested. There are so many different furniture stores selling so many canvas prints. I also tried to sell my photos through various stock photo agencies. I have sold a few. But it’s never really satisfactory. You get about 7 euros per photo, and you end up selling all your rights...
