Good morning,

I would like to install Grundtal spotlights with "invisible" wiring in Faktum wall cabinets. For this, I plan to attach a bottom cover panel.

Is it necessary to mill a groove into the carcass to run the cable from the top (where the power connection is) down along the side of the cabinet? And is a groove needed on the underside as well? What is the best way to do this? It would be great if there is a photo of this somewhere online. Thanks!

Best regards,

I would rout a groove into the top edges using a router.

A groove in the top panel is also an option. So it seems it can't be done without milling. A pity, I was hoping for some time-saving trick... Thanks anyway.

Hi,

otherwise just run the cable through the cabinet and don’t place anything where the cable comes out. Although the tip about using a router is much more professional. 😉
