Hello forum,

attached is our current bathroom layout...

Floor plan of a living space with hallway and furniture, dimensions (hallway 15.18 m²)

Somehow, I am not completely satisfied with it, but I can’t come to a final decision myself either.

I would be very grateful for any ideas or suggestions.

Regards,
Christian

Or maybe like this?

Floor plan of a bathroom: bathtub/shower on the left, double washbasins at the bottom, toilet in the middle, shower on the right.

If the upper half of the shower wall were made of glass, you wouldn’t feel like you’re running into a wall when entering.

I really liked your first draft! A corner bathtub would also fit well, I just need to experiment with the layout a bit... But you’ve been a great help with that.

What should I give up?
For example, on the extra-long shower like in the well-designed plan by @kaho674 in #10.

What if you use the layout from #10 and swap the toilet and shower? (So move the sink "wall" slightly to the right or shorten it, and have the window directly above the bathtub?!)

Having natural daylight in the shower would be important to me – but of course, it’s not our bathroom. And sometimes you just can’t have everything.

A window directly above the bathtub probably isn’t possible because the window position is fixed.

And why have a window in the shower… a recessed light in the shower works just as well and is necessary anyway for “early morning showers” or “late evening showers.”

Keep in mind that swapping the toilet and shower might cause the same issue again with the washbasin and the door when entering, and we don’t necessarily need natural light in the shower since it’s still dark in the morning anyway.
