Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a piece of furniture from the Ikea Brimnes series and am now looking for the corresponding assembly instructions. My question is whether the assembly instructions for Ikea Brimnes are available in multiple languages, especially in German and English, but also in other languages such as French or Spanish.
I have already searched on the Ikea website, but they usually only offer one PDF per country, which puzzles me a bit since the product is sold internationally. My goal is to make sure in advance that I receive a multilingual manual or to find out where it can be downloaded if available.
Has anyone had experience with this or can offer tips on how to obtain multiple language versions? Thanks in advance for your help!

Additional information: If you have trouble finding the correct manual, you can proceed as follows:
- Visit the IKEA website for your country.
- Search for "Brimnes" and select the product.
- Usually, there is a link on the product page called "Product Information" or "Assembly Instructions," sometimes located at the very bottom.
- There, you will typically find all available languages as separate PDF files.
If your language is not shown directly, it might be that only the locally relevant languages are provided.
A common mistake is not specifically searching for the exact product (e.g., Brimnes dresser vs. Brimnes bed), as each version has its own manual.

I see this a bit more nuanced. Technically, it wouldn’t be a problem to offer a multilingual PDF that optionally displays content depending on the selection.I agree with this assessment, but Ikea, as a global company, makes pragmatic decisions regarding translations, legal requirements, and user-friendliness. Separate files are easier to manage and keep up to date.

Does anyone have experience with this or can give me tips on how to get multiple language versions? One more tip: Ikea stores usually have instructions only in the local language, but customer service can often provide PDFs in other languages by email. So if you need a specific language, it’s worth contacting Ikea directly.
