ᐅ Are there indoor motion sensors available that do not detect pets?

Hello,
I would like to control the lighting in our hallway using motion sensors. We have a dog (12 kg) and two cats.
Are there motion sensors that do not react to pets? Or is there a way to install standard motion sensors so they don’t trigger from the animals?
Unfortunately, our electrician said that such options don’t exist.

Haha, when the cat jumps onto the cupboard, the light turns on ;-)Our cat is well trained :pWe only have motion sensors downstairs and upstairs in the hallway. She just walks through or sits on the stairs looking outside through the stair window. Neither scenario triggers the sensors.

With wall-mounted motion sensors, you can set them at the correct height so they don’t detect small animals.
When someone asked in the KNX forum about such an application, the reply was a question back, asking why their pets need to walk through the house in the dark :p
We control almost all rooms with sensors and also have a cat. On one hand, the lighting is only partially switched on at night and dimmed, so it doesn’t disturb sleep, and on the other hand, most animals don’t run through the house at night once it’s quiet.First, our cats also walk through the hallway at night, as they drink and eat during the night.
Second, the lights in the hallway are not only supposed to turn on at night but also during the day when I move around there.

Our (wall) motion detectors are set up to ignore the lower area and therefore do not react to our cat. With the dog, it might be a bit more difficult depending on its size. Do you have a model name or manufacturer for those?
