LoadsI am currently working on the electrical installation and, once again, facing the challenge of how to arrange the living room.
I basically have three options:
1. TV on the wall opposite the patio door
The issue here is that the door would become unusable (which isn’t that bad since there are other doors nearby anyway).
2. TV on the side wall next to the patio door
The problem I see here is that the sofa would have its back to the rest of the house.
3. TV on the wall between two patio doors
In this case, the TV would be quite angled away from the sofa.
Which option would you prefer?

What kind of question is that – are you single?
The species known as "beloved wife" is said to rearrange seating groups every three years anyway. This logically leads to the conclusion: equip all walls with power and speaker outlets, because over the next ten years, all three arrangements will come into play at least once. Deciding on the seemingly optimal solution now will only result in extension cords during the phases when one of the other layouts is in vogue.

Then I’ll probably do it the same way... And now with some backup since I said it. The same type of “dear wife” who doesn’t like extension cords (because of the looks, tripping over them would be less of a concern) actually appreciates having many sockets to avoid that—but then again, not so much ;-)
