I am currently working on the electrical installation and, once again, facing the challenge of how to arrange the living room.
I basically have three options:
1. TV on the wall opposite the patio door
The issue here is that the door would become unusable (which isn’t that bad since there are other doors nearby anyway).
2. TV on the side wall next to the patio door
The problem I see here is that the sofa would have its back to the rest of the house.
3. TV on the wall between two patio doors
In this case, the TV would be quite angled away from the sofa.

Which option would you prefer?

I can already see it's the same here as it is at home.
5 people – 10 opinions. :-)
I'll just go ahead and install the boxes everywhere.
I’ll probably start with number 3 (where the couch we have now also fits).
And if we don’t like it, we can simply change it later.

It is also possible to voluntarily keep openable windows closed – considering the likely changes between the options, I wouldn’t want to commit to one way or the other. I would prefer to have a window that can be opened at every stage.

We chose option 2 and are very satisfied with it!

A new perspective for me: using the television as the reference point for arranging the living room – I wouldn’t have thought of that. Yet, when I think about it, I do know several households where the screen is the central focal point.
