Hello,

I would first like to have the house fully completed and then, depending on the financial situation, add the conservatory in 2–3 years. It can already be planned now (with connections for electricity and heating) and approved.

The question is whether it will be significantly more expensive later if the excavator has to come out twice...

Or is there a compromise option, for example, to have the foundation done now and use it as a terrace until the conservatory is actually built? What would the cost be for just doing the foundation?

Hello,

I don’t think it’s a good idea to have the foundation for the conservatory built now and then use it as a terrace.

In my opinion, you would create a major thermal bridge into the house with a continuous concrete surface.

My recommendation would be to have the conservatory constructed now – the likelihood is high that after two to three years, you won’t want to start building again because of the mess and stress.
