NadinHello,
where is north?
What I find lacking are storage rooms—at least on the ground floor, ideally also on the upper floor.
The kitchen feels very uncomfortable being so large, with very long walking distances. A proper kitchen layout should definitely be planned from the start.
The staircase next to the front door has already been discussed and criticized many times here.
What comes to mind spontaneously: a half-landing staircase in the area of the current cloakroom, a cloakroom by the current bathroom (possibly with a storage room and a bathroom next to the kitchen).
Why are there no windows on one side of the dining and kitchen area (west side?)

Hello,
there are two storage rooms in the basement. On one side, there is no window because a cabinet heirloom that is 2m long (6.6 ft) will be placed there. The kitchen layout is not finalized yet. However, we intentionally want a lot of space since we currently have a very narrow kitchen only 3.5m long (11.5 ft), which feels too small when more than one person is in the kitchen. The ceiling height on the ground floor is 2.75m (9 ft) and on the upper floor 2.65m (8.7 ft). It cannot be higher as the building authority says no, the building boundary has been reached.
Best regards, Nadin
