Hello everyone,
We would like to have a basement tender prepared by an architect (a total of 4 basements, since this is a building partnership). What costs should one typically expect for the basement tender? The architect is charging 5,000 € (euros), which seems quite high to me at first glance.

Just off the top of my head... it always depends on the construction costs. Without dimensions, etc., it’s difficult to assess.
But based on my previous experience as a layperson, I don’t find the price entirely unrealistic.

nordanney15 Jan 2014 07:09For comparison: For the tendering process and assistance with awarding the contract, we paid only about 2,300 EUR for an entire (large) single-family house. An amount of 20,000 EUR would be pure extortion...

toxicmolotof15 Jan 2014 08:14I withdraw my previous statement. I did not notice the word "tender" and instead somehow assumed it was about the entire planning process.
Now it is actually just about a work stage (LP), right?

It is really just about the tendering process, obtaining quotes, and comparing bids for 4 basements. The total price for this is €5,000. I just wanted to get a sense of whether this is typical for the market.
I don’t know how the €2,300 for the planning of an entire house comes about, but if it is billed according to HOAI, then it must be a very inexpensive house, assuming that “planning” refers to phases 1 to 9.
