SebastianH.24 May 2021 13:20Hello,
I wanted to ask if anyone is familiar with the pricing from the company Obuk.
Our construction company mainly uses these doors and has provided us with a catalog. Prices are available upon request.
For example, I am interested in experiences with the Vitano handle (including spy camera in the handle) and what it costs.
Also, the door leaf that covers both sides of the frame.
Not an exact price, just a rough idea of what to expect.
Thanks in advance...

A handle with gimmick technology will most likely be sourced from a supplier like other providers. Front doors usually involve two manufacturers (frame and panel), although both manufacturers often market the assembled complete product as if they were the sole manufacturer. I would only recommend a double-sided overlapping sash design for aluminum, as in my opinion, it does not match the price range for PVC.

SebastianH.24 May 2021 17:10Hi,
This is an aluminum door and it’s only about the panel now. We’re not quite sure whether to install a peephole or get a handle with a spy camera. It would have been interesting to know the cost (both sides leaf-covered + handle with spy camera).
Unfortunately, the company Obuk does not have a price list on their website.

Personally, we dislike the idea of choosing something worth several thousand euros from a catalog and only seeing it in person during installation. Additionally, the selection of interior and exterior doors from our builder’s supplier was very limited and quite standard.
On Saturday, we visited a specialist store near Szczecin to see the doors in person (we are both originally from Poland). Since this specialist store a) delivers and installs in Germany and b) also has branches in Germany, they can issue an invoice with 19% VAT in euros, we will source all our doors from them.
Doors that the dealer here charges an additional 1000 € (about $1,100) each for can be purchased there at regular prices. For example.
We do not want to speak negatively about all door manufacturers, but we were not satisfied with ours.

It would have been interesting to know the cost (both sides with overlapping sashes + handle with spy camera) We didn’t have a spy camera. Without that feature, you would have paid five thousand for the standard-sized door without a sidelight (210 x 110cm (83 x 43 inches)).

Unfortunately, the company Obuk does not have a price list on their website. That would be fatal in this industry.

What kind of door is shown in your picture? It looks like a side entrance door, but then I’m confused about the “missing” lock (is there an automatic lock inside that turns the handle when locking)?

Fatal for what – I assume this is your first build?
What kind of door is shown in your picture? It looks like a secondary entrance door, but then I’m surprised by the “missing” lock (is there an automatic lock inside that turns the handle when locking)? It has a magnetic lock. When you press the handle down, the magnet releases and opens. It’s an internal door.
