The plan is as follows:
9,000 m² (2.2 acres) plot of land (already purchased)
Approx. 165–190 m² (1,775–2,045 sq ft) living space
Approx. 80 m² (860 sq ft) single garage
Heat pump with underfloor, ceiling, and wall heating (optional)
Ventilation system
All windows with blinds, plus an additional mesh for darkening
Planned budget is open
Photovoltaic system with approx. 15 kWp

Contractors will be involved, but with some owner participation (construction time therefore about 3 years)

Both staircases lead to the upper floor, but this will not be finished.
The staircase inside the house leads only to a small hallway. No other rooms.
The garage staircase leads to the technical room.

All paths/passages inside the house have a minimum width of 1.20 m (4 ft)

I created the drawing myself, so the measurements are not 100% accurate.
A professional planner will finalize the plans later.
I didn’t want to spend too much time learning the software.

I think that’s supposed to be a (second) coat closet.

If there are cats with boots, there surely must be some with cloaks or hats as well. Mikesch?

So, what can I say?

- As already mentioned, there are no real questions.
- Information is only partially provided.
- We know almost nothing about the plot/location.
- Previous comments (e.g., garage within the thermal envelope) have at least been doubted.
- Suggestions regarding the floor plan are also not really accepted.

Why are you actually here?

I’ll point out a few more things, then I’m out, as I don’t see the point:

- The house shape causes problems. Long distances, narrow dressing room, etc.
- The house is designed in a very cost-inefficient way. Believe it or not, if you don’t care, that’s fine too.
- The orientation is questionable. Due to the boomerang bend, there is little evening sun depending on the season. In summer, the sun sets in the northwest.
- Nothing can be said about the orientation because we don’t know the plot.
- I can’t understand why the house is placed so awkwardly on 9000 sqm (about 96875 sq ft) or 1000 sqm (about 10764 sq ft); the statement that there are forests/meadows around doesn’t help much.
- There are still many small "pitfalls" in the floor plan that were barely addressed (e.g., it feels like almost every room has two or more doors), but probably no one really feels like thinking about them because 1. there is too little information and 2. you (at least to me) don’t give the impression that you want to accept criticism.

The building structure and floor plan are unusual. That’s a matter of taste, completely fine and legitimate—but the fact remains that both have so far been poorly designed.

So either provide more information and be open to feedback, or don’t. That’s also okay, then I’ll say goodbye!

The whole post is pointless. Duck and cover.
