Hello everyone,
As mentioned above, we want to get a robotic lawn mower to start the spring season.
Which ones do you use, recommend, or avoid, and why?
Does it have to be a Husqvarna, or is a Worx also good enough? Why one and not the other?
I’m very interested in hearing about your experiences.
Best regards
Tarnari

Ooh, a lawn mower topic.
I love mowing the lawn.
We, or more precisely I—I do the mowing—enthusiastically use a Husqvarna mulching mower with a 3.5 HP Briggs and Stratton engine, easy start, and wheel drive. It starts within a maximum of two pulls, handles even the longest vacation lawn, mulches like a robot, and together we cut the lawn short in 15 minutes. It also has a wonderful 4-stroke engine sound. It costs around 380.00 euros. It runs fine on premium fuel, including E10, with oil consumption close to zero.
As long as I can still walk, I don’t want a robot to take that fun away from me. Besides, a proper robot mower is probably twice as expensive. Sorry, but I really hate this kind of thing. Every other day this noisy machine bothers the neighbors, even though it makes no sense. Hopefully, there will be a ban (where are the Greens??)... okay, just kidding, I don’t like bans, but where is the common sense?
About a year ago, I faced the same decision.
I ended up choosing a Worx L1000. What I especially liked about it was the easy battery replacement. Since Worx uses standard batteries also used in cordless drills and similar tools, you can simply buy a larger battery and, depending on your property, avoid having to recharge in between.

When buying the house, we got both a robot mower for the large garden and a 5-horsepower Honda mower for the front from the 1980s. That thing is pretty loud. Throw it away? Never, as long as it still works.
