Hi there!
I haven’t tried it myself – we had already chosen a house from their catalog and only made minor adjustments, like slightly enlarging the bedroom and adding a storage room, things like that.
At the appointment, we were told that you can basically change anything inside the house. We played around a lot with planning software and realized we couldn’t come up with a better floor plan than the architect.
I don’t know to what extent they can or want to do completely customized designs.
I also created a thread here about our experiences from 2020, and if you browse my profile carefully, you’ll find a full blog as well. Your thread reads well, I’m really glad everything worked out for you!
The more recent reviews and experiences from the last few months have put me off a bit.
At the moment, we are favoring E&E.

The more recent reviews and experience reports from the past few months have put me off a bit.
We currently favor E&E Back then, a few blogs and reviews about T&M also unsettled me.
Regarding the Google reviews, my only advice is to take a closer look at the authors of the posts.
I tend to disregard anyone who has only posted a single review on Google. People who create a Google account solely to rate T&M (whether positive or negative) just seem suspiciously fake. Most people already have a Google account anyway. So if someone makes a new one only to review a company, it usually means either they already reviewed with their old account and want to “give more weight to their voice” by writing additional reviews, or they are competitors (in the case of negative reviews), or paid reviewers for advertising purposes (for positive ones).
Therefore, I only pay attention to genuine contributions from Local Guides or people who otherwise provide plausible ratings.
Accounts that also rate the same other companies with unusually positive or unusually negative reviews are also suspicious. I don’t believe these are coincidences.
For a pizza delivery service, this kind of research would be too stressful for me, but when it came to the construction company, I really clicked through ALL the names of the reviewers to see what else they were doing and was genuinely surprised back then.
I’m not sure if these obvious fakes are still there, though; I believe some of them were removed by Google.

At the moment, we are favoring E&E Oh, and a tip about what I mean by that: try comparing the two reviews by "Captain Poroton" and "Spezi 81" on Google.
What stands out especially are phrases that are almost identical word for word ("the approach... unsettling", "to this day ... various defects", "professional ... presentation").
I’d almost bet my favorite shirt that the same person wrote both.
The style of the posts makes me think it’s more likely a competitor than a genuine homeowner.
In my opinion, some of the positive reviews are also fake; some of them just sound too much like marketing talk and too little like real experience.
Anyway, besides the reviews, you’re welcome to tell me which current user reports have put you off — I’d like to read those too.
I know a few older blogs where things got pretty chaotic, but if you have anything from 2019/2020, please share.

Based on the style of the posts, I would also suspect a competitor rather than an actual homeowner.
In my opinion, there are also some fake positive reviews; some of them sound more like marketing buzzwords and less like genuine experience.
Anyway, aside from the reviews, feel free to tell me which recent testimonials have put you off—I’d be interested to read those as well.

The subcontractors are sometimes really not that great; in our case, it was mainly the electrical company that caused problems.

The subcontractors are sometimes really not great; for us, it was mainly the electrical company that was annoying. I had searched for experiences with T.... and M.... on g.oo..., then clicked on the second result, a blog with a female and male name.
However, as mentioned at the beginning, what was crucial for us was that they absolutely tried to push a floor plan on us and, it felt like, did not listen to what we actually wanted.
