Hello,
we are currently looking for a construction company (masonry/concrete construction) to build our house. However, those we contact either do not respond or it takes a very long time to get answers. We have a preferred company from the town where we live (our first conversation was 2.5 weeks ago). Unfortunately, they have not replied for over two weeks now (they are not on vacation).
Now the question: Do you possibly know a construction company you can recommend? And is it normal for responses to take several weeks?

Is soundproofing for the attic really that important? Probably not.
What does that mean? The membrane beneath the walls? That should be standard anyway.

I have just declined three companies:
- FIBAV (the salesperson called today and said prices will increase at the end of next week. That’s typical, so they’re out)
- Ecohaus (price/performance ratio was very high, plus the reviews, including from acquaintances, were so-so)
- HGWBau (initially our favorite because they are local. Unfortunately, they didn’t have time or didn’t want to make time)

What do you mean by that? The membrane under the walls? That should be standard. Sorry, I’m not an expert. According to the city’s requirements, a bitumen flashing including removal is needed.
The soundproofing is probably meant for inside the house.
