Unfortunately, we don’t have a fully dimensioned floor plan of the upper floor yet, as we first need to review our requested changes with the architect from the prefab house company. Since we cannot do this an unlimited number of times, we want to enter the discussion with a nearly finished floor plan.
Yes, I’m referring to the pantry, which is quite spacious. There will be a floor-to-ceiling window installed there.
I don’t want to post the site plan of the entire property in this forum, but I don’t think it’s that important. The carport side faces north, and the pool side faces south.
On the pool side, we have 7.50 m (25 feet) to the property boundary, and on the carport side, there is only 1.5 m (5 feet) to the property boundary. On the west side, we have plenty of space on the lot.

Is this the main house? I’m concerned that sharing use isn’t planned as a permanent arrangement.
Also, the narrow wall for the living room sofa and three!!! doors in the guest bathroom confuse me.
No, it’s an older house that we also own, so we can use the basement without limits since the other apartments are rented out or used as offices.
Regarding the guest bathroom: We definitely want the shower bathroom on the pool side. The utility room isn’t very important to us, so it will have no window and will be accessible through the shower bathroom, because we won’t use it much anyway, and access from the hallway isn’t possible due to the stairs.
We also considered mirroring the staircase, but I find it odd that I would have to walk around the stairs to get to the living room when entering the front door. A
