Hello, I need to install about 40 meters (130 feet) of sewage pipe. I would like to later use the base layer required for this for paving stones on a walkway. The path will run along a property boundary. How much distance do I need to maintain legally and technically from the neighbor for the pipe? In the end, there will also be 2 inspection chambers involved...

Why a sewer?
Are you building a 21-story apartment building?
Up to a certain size, wastewater is routed through pipes (orange) with a slope,
and these are also installed beneath walkways, driveways, etc.

I mean this one, Nida35a. How close am I allowed to build it to the property boundary?

Keep at least 1 meter (3 feet) away from the bottom of the trench to be on the safe side. This is more related to the trench and possible soil slippage than to any required clearance.

Be careful with a 40-meter (130 feet) long trench along a road, as there are likely special safety requirements. It is best to consult with a local civil engineer or excavation specialist.

Since the wastewater pipe by definition must leave the property to function properly, you are generally allowed to lay it up to the property line. For example, we have a public sewer on our property boundary, but appropriate safeguards have, of course, been officially recorded for this.

Hello K1300S, we built in the second row. A 25 m (82 feet) access road, 3.5 m (11.5 feet) wide, leads to our house. The sewer line runs along it. By near property boundary, I meant the boundary parallel to the 25 m (82 feet) access road next to the neighbor.
