Hello everyone,
I am currently at the stage of planning our own home where I need to define the sizes for windows, patio doors, and interior doors. Are there standard dimensions for these, or do you have any recommendations?
We look forward to your feedback.
Best regards, David

The standard interior door measures 860 x 2110 millimeters (34 x 83 inches). There are no standard sizes for windows and exterior doors. Personally, I would make the front door at least 1.10 meters (3 feet 7 inches) wide. Windows should create a harmonious overall appearance. I wouldn’t make any window smaller than 2 square meters (22 square feet), except perhaps in the guest bathroom.

110 masonry opening fits standard hardware store windows. Here, all windows were measured precisely and custom made. We were told there are no standard sizes; everything is measured after the shell construction is completed, otherwise it won’t fit down to the centimeter.
