I am curious to know which ceiling height you chose and why.
If applicable, also from the basement if you built one.

This is my topic.
I have spent a lot of time thinking about the sense of space.
Every room has finished flooring.
Ceiling height is 267 cm (8 ft 9 in) in all rooms, and in the living room it is about 4.70 m (15 ft 5 in) open up to the ridge.
This is a bungalow.
The shell construction is complete, and all rooms feel spacious even though some are smaller, standard-sized rooms.
Living room / kitchen: 56 m² (602 sq ft)
2 children’s rooms: 12 m² (129 sq ft) each
Bedroom: 12 m² (129 sq ft)
Dressing room: 8 m² (86 sq ft)
Utility room: 12 m² (129 sq ft)
Bathroom: 12 m² (129 sq ft)
Bathroom: 5 m² (54 sq ft)
Office: 12 m² (129 sq ft)
Pantry: 3 m² (32 sq ft)
Entrance hallway: 20 m² (215 sq ft)
All interior doors are 211 cm (83 in) high, and the front door and patio doors are 235 cm (92 in) high.

As already mentioned above by @blaupuma, it feels spacious and we like it. If it had been approved, we would have built even higher rooms (2.80 m / 9 ft 2 in on both floors).
We have a finished room height of 2.70 meters (8 feet 10 inches) both upstairs and downstairs and find this to be the optimal height for us. We paid an extra charge of around 2000 euros (including taller windows), so it wasn’t very expensive. Previously, we had 2.50 meters (8 feet 2 inches), and the difference is clearly noticeable; it simply feels much better now.
