Unfortunately, I can’t quite follow this idea!? 🙂

The highlighted wall is the one in question. The design doesn’t show how it is constructed. I would only build it up to the sill height to let in more light. Or even just make it a railing to allow even more light. 🙂

You could also leave a corner flush with the bedroom and then start the railing, or continue around the corner at half height... Or, or, or...

I can see the chimney flue! If the fireplace is going there, this wall is in the way. So just leave it out! What purpose is this wall supposed to serve? At best, it’s just a nuisance...

Parapet. A window with a parapet is not a floor-to-ceiling window. Parapets provide protection in bedrooms and bathrooms in every respect.

And please don’t write inside the quotations. We’re doing our best to make it readable for you.

Have you read the list of questions? Because if grandma is moving in as well, I don’t think this design works 😉

I’m still a bit torn. This might be mainly because I’m struggling with the sloped roof on the upper floor. At what point in the rooms do you get a proper ceiling height?

-> How accessible is the toilet in the master bathroom?

I also can’t quite imagine having the shower in the middle of the room.

Is there any (possibly technical) reason why the children's rooms aren’t the same size?

Have you considered adding a door to separate the hallway from the master suite?

On the ground floor, you’re planning floor-to-ceiling windows in the kitchen, right? Will the storage space in the kitchen cabinets as shown be enough for you?

In the living room, I imagine the sofa will be placed against the wall that borders the office. Where would you place a TV, bookshelf, or something similar then? Don’t get me wrong, I like many aspects of the design, but with so many floor-to-ceiling windows, I’m wondering about the practicality.

Maria is right: with a knee wall of 1 meter (3.3 feet), access to the toilet is under the slope, below 2 meters (6.6 feet).

The wardrobe would just be enough for me as a single person [emoji23]
Unfortunately, a wardrobe only holds a limited amount of clothes at the moment. I don’t see storage space for dozens of shoes. And the utility room can’t be used for everything either [emoji848]

I have to be honest, I’m not comfortable with this sketching program with those faint lines. I just noticed the toilets now. What was the architect thinking?

Also, I don’t find the dark walk-in closet very appealing.

The staircase on the ground floor could be brightened up with light slots or some kind of interior window. Otherwise, it would be quite dark.
