Garfield-197831 Jan 2018 23:11Hello!
We are currently building a house in the Swabian architectural style.
This style includes window shutters.
Now we are deciding on the color of the shutters. We would like to choose a color that is less common. Red or green is considered "standard."
We would like to have blue shutters, but blue is generally a cooler color.
How can we design the facade together with blue window shutters so that it doesn’t look too cold?
For example, we were thinking of cobalt blue or steel blue (RAL 5013 / RAL 5011).
If we choose a facade color with beige or brown tones, it might appear a bit "warmer"...
Do you possibly have pictures of houses with similar color schemes?

Rocker-Braut18 Oct 2018 16:52This doesn’t really relate to the original question, but in which region and with which construction company are you building? We also want to build in the Swabian style and are still looking for the right building partner. I might also have a few questions about shutters and beaver tail roof tiles — would a private message be possible?
