Hello everyone,

I would like to ask for your advice shortly regarding the design of our bathroom.

We are currently at the shell stage of our town villa, with only the ground floor walls completed so far. The bathroom is located on the first floor in the northeast corner of the house.

The wall dimensions have been set, and the drain pipes have been installed in the floor slab according to the plan.

The attached layout was created by us in coordination with the architect / draftsman. However, I would appreciate your opinion. Everything can still be adjusted as long as the drains remain accessible.

Requirements:
Shower at least 1.10 x 1.10 meters (3 ft 7 in x 3 ft 7 in)
Double vanity
At least one tall cabinet
At least one additional cabinet / sideboard

Best regards,

Niko

Are these floor-to-ceiling windows?

No, the parapet height is 1 meter (3 feet 3 inches) as shown in the plan :-) do you already have an idea?

Now I see it too 😉
They are fixed, not adjustable, since they are adapted to the facade, right?

So in theory, you could still move them, at least the window on the long side (= east).

The window on the north wall could simply be omitted and instead moved to the east side as well, since there is another window below the window on the north side, and the ground floor is already built ;-)

I would leave it as is because I like the layout. A built-up frame wall from wall to wall above the washbasins for storage...

I would also give the bathtub more space by placing it on a platform and moving it as far down the plan as possible so that the platform/bathtub aligns with the shower wall.
