Here I see a combination of measures as the most effective overall. That’s exactly what I wanted to add. From my experience, there is no way around combining drainage, possibly external waterproofing, and additional internal waterproofing.
Especially with Malm limestone, since the rock can absorb water due to its structure and dries very slowly, the measures should be designed so that residual moisture is not trapped. Otherwise, long-term damage can occur.
