Hi, I’m curious to know which main facade color you have chosen. Let’s leave aside stripes and decorations for now. I just want to know the most commonly used base color.

Hello,
we are currently facing a tough choice as well. Type: urban villa, windows, HE door, and roof in RAL7016.
The facade is definitely not going to be white, as it either becomes dirty white after a few years or it is so bright white that it causes glare and attracts a lot of insects. Strong colors are also rather out of the question.

Since taste is, of course, subjective, my real question is:
Besides using a color fan deck, have you used any other tools or samples: exhibitions, paint manufacturers, neighbors, a one square meter test coat, simulation software, etc.?

What helped us the most was walking through new housing developments, where you can see lots of different styles and get plenty of inspiration. Above all, you often see what you should avoid doing.

We went through residential areas with the color palette and held up the selection of house colors we liked. Interestingly, our orange house now appears more yellowish because houses with a much higher red content in their orange tones were built to the left and right.
