Good morning everyone,
We will soon begin the groundwork for the foundation slab.
Now I’m wondering when the best time is to submit the application for the electrical grid connection to the local utility provider?
Can I submit the application now and then schedule a specific appointment once the house has reached a certain stage?
We are building without a basement, so the cable will be routed from the street to the utility room.
How was it with you specifically? At what point did you submit the application, and when was the house connection finally installed?

Our house construction only began after the power was connected.

However, you should try to get your house electrical connection as early as possible. We were able to run the drying phase of the screed using our house power supply. The "regular" electricity is cheaper than temporary construction power.
