My electrician is still on vacation, so I’m hoping for a quick response here.

What type of electrical cable should be run from the supplier’s cable, in our case Süwag, to the distribution board in the basement?

You mean the thickness? Your network provider knows that – do you want to embed PVC pipes in concrete yourself? I would first talk to the utility company to see if they accept that – normally, they handle everything, including the connection to the building.

They didn’t do anything there – so they can’t complain either 😉

Your electrician needs to calculate this based on your power requirements.

I would tend to doubt that.

Laying and selecting the cable is the responsibility of the utility company, which also installs the meters and makes the connection.

Are you getting a multi-utility connection installed in your house, or are you using separate inlets?

Yes, after the electrician submits the application, specifying the required kilowatt capacity based on prior calculations. Without the application and calculations, the utility provider cannot proceed.

Nonsense – for a single-family house, you already have a standard connection. The application is submitted by the homeowner themselves – the electrician is not involved in this process.
