I want to compact the paving stones laid on gravel for our terrace after the jointing material has been applied. I still need a concrete edge support since there are no curb stones.
Should I only start compacting once this support is installed and fully cured? The stones with the concrete support shouldn’t move during compaction, so they should remain higher than the other stones, right?

For the remaining stones, the base is filled so that with 3-5cm (1 to 2 inches) of gravel plus the paving stone, the height ends up about 1cm (0.4 inches) above the final level.
