Hello everyone,
I’m interested in knowing which ceiling height you have chosen or are likely to choose.
Are you satisfied with your choice? Looking back, would you choose a different ceiling height? If yes, why?
Best regards
Ddorfer
P.S. For the survey, please select the ceiling height that is closest to yours.

We really stand out from the norm: we have an open wooden beam ceiling, and the clear height up to the bottom of the beams is 2.42 m (7 ft 11 in) including the floor covering. The beams themselves are 22 cm (8.7 in) high. Due to the eave height requirements in the development plan, we made a compromise between a lower ceiling height and knee walls on the upper floor. But since our apartment back then only had 2.37 m (7 ft 9 in) height, it works for us.
On the upper floor, we don’t have an attic peak; instead, we have an open beam ceiling all the way up to the ridge beam at 3.8 m (12 ft 6 in).

For our dimensions of 13.99 m x 9.24 m (46 ft x 30 ft), the additional cost for increasing the ground floor ceiling height to 2.875 m (9 ft 5 in) clear structural height (top of foundation slab to underside of ceiling. Later around 2.65+ m (8 ft 8 in) room height. Including brick veneer, excluding door and window changes): 3,960.17 EUR. I need to revisit this thread.
May I ask what ceiling height you have inside your homes?

Ground floor: 2.71 m (target: 2.70 m)
Upper floor: 2.66 m (target: 2.65 m)
I happened to measure recently with a laser.

Let’s see what the coming years will bring... laugh. Bent back, ceilings higher and lower.

May I ask, what height do your door frames have? Sorry, the spell-checker played a trick on me.
I wanted to know what height your doors have with room heights between 2.60 and 2.70 meters (8 ft 6 in to 8 ft 10 in).
