We are slowly planning to replace our old bed because it is no longer comfortable to sleep in. We have already read a lot about the advantages of waterbeds and box spring beds. We have looked at several options but are interested in hearing about personal experiences from owners of these types of beds.

We then switched to a box spring bed and were very impressed from the start. The sleeping comfort is noticeably better than with a waterbed. Also, a box spring bed requires no maintenance—just set it up and you’re done. I would definitely recommend a box spring bed.

I would definitely recommend a box spring bed.I completely agree here. After 10 years, the constant bubbling finally stopped. Always adding water, releasing air, and so on. We bought a high-quality box spring bed and are looking forward to it.
One more point that comes to mind is the electric adjustment for the head and foot sections in box spring beds. If you want to read a book or watch a bit of TV, you can simply select the desired position with the remote control, and everything is perfect. I imagine this would be a bit more difficult with a waterbed since the water always tends to move downward.
There is definitely a difference between high-end beds and cheaper ones. I used to have more affordable beds, and they all eventually started to creak loudly. On the previous pages, comfortable sleep was also discussed, and for me, that includes sleeping without noise. A high-quality bed is so well made that you don’t hear anything at all.

Hi, I’ve now read through all 12 pages, and no one has even remotely considered a particular topic that should not be overlooked.

What about that? I imagine it’s much more difficult on a waterbed than on a box spring bed. And even with a box spring bed, I’ve heard it has disadvantages compared to a regular bed in this regard.
