Hello,
for our new build, we have planned two double door units for the living room. Currently, the width is 1.88m (6 feet 2 inches) per double door.
We are considering increasing this to about 2.20m (7 feet 3 inches), but since these will be triple-glazed panels, I have read that triple glazing can cause issues after a few years due to the weight.
Is that true, or should I rethink the plan and not worry about it?
Regards,
Gigi

Hi,
we also have 200cm (79 inches) double doors. Next time, we would choose a size smaller because the handle is very hard to operate. Even WD40 and adjusting it didn’t help much. Otherwise, such large doors are really great. They let in a lot of light, and cleaning is very quick.

A window manufacturer says:
Maximum 200cm (double door), as the plastic frames can warp over time.
