Hello.
I am looking for a built-in microwave oven with a steam cooking function.
So far, I have only found Miele models, which cost over 3000€.
Can anyone offer some advice?

It might make more sense to search for the following combinations:

Steam oven .. oven with integrated steam cooker
Oven with built-in microwave

You can also find these options within the BSH group at Bosch, Siemens, Neff.

Exactly... install the oven with a steam cooker and microwave separately above or next to it...

You can get this from almost all major brands for a significantly lower price.

or oven + steam cooker as standalone devices without the cassette.

I faced a similar problem.

I have now planned the following appliances:
* Oven with pyrolytic self-cleaning
* Combination steam oven Fullsteam
Both from NEFF.

However, I will attend an appliance demonstration and cooking class to see if this is the right choice for me.

A proper steam cooker is a great appliance. However, you need to be aware that you MUST clean it after EVERY use. Essentially, the device is like a pot with a colander on top—it remains completely wet inside, and the “inner lining” also gets dirty from residue left by the vegetable steam.

An oven can be thoroughly cleaned eventually with pyrolytic cleaning, and all the built-up grime becomes history, but a steam cooker can be quickly damaged otherwise. It is essential to ensure the appliance has as few edges, corners, and crevices as possible.
